It’s extremely rewarding to act and turn your ideas into a successful business. Entrepreneurship lets people create careers that align with their values, like helping others or protecting the environment, and thus give them a mental and emotional sense of fulfillment that many other jobs cannot.

Entrepreneurship is a social phenomenon involving complex interplays between humans and the societal context that they live in, work, play and learn. It is therefore frequently regarded as a major subject of study within the social sciences. It is also an interdisciplinary field that draws upon the disciplines of law, anthropology and public policy and sociology and management.

We present the research on the entrepreneurship of non-business students in this article and propose a framework for current research based on four dimensions of social-learning – observational learning, the role of peers and mentors, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as a platform to social-learning, as well as the impact of institutions. We further examine how this framework could be applied in a more systematic fashion to guide research and the development of education in entrepreneurship in the future. We also provide a thorough study of bibliometrics, which is supported by VOSviewer, Bibliometrix and highlighting the most prominent authors and institutions including countries, seminars, seminars journals and themes. This provides a complete and thorough understanding of the present situation in the field. The analysis also reveals potential future areas for research and the gaps in knowledge that must be filled.
